Established in 1918, The Farmhouse is one of the original buildings on the homestead. Three generations of family history have graced this beautiful home. Our great-grandparents Anna and Johan (Art) Anderson first purchased the farm in 1944 after emigrating from Stockholm, Sweden. Soon after they established Pelican Lake Dairy, a business serving the Orr area for over 30 years.

 

The home has undergone a few family remodeling projects and expansions during its lifetime. In the summer of 2020, we completed a major interior remodel. Updates included new wood flooring, tile, electrical upgrades, as well as modern appliances and amenities.

 

While we’ve made improvements, we’ve also maintained the Farmhouse’s originality.

The Farmhouse is spacious with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We can accommodate up to 12 guests. If you have a larger party, contact us directly to discuss accommodations.
